I watched Star Trek III and Star Trek IV recently and it sparked a nostalgia for for 80's movies. Actually, I watched E.T. a few months ago (when were deciding to name our son Elliott) so this trend has been building for a while now.
One thing I like about movies from this time period is the studio logos at the beginning of VHS tapes. Those logos have such strong memories because every movie I saw at Halls Ferry Cinema and Cross Keys during my childhood started with one.
Yesterday I ordered Clue on DVD from amazon and tried to find other 80's movies I wanted to see again while I was checking out. Of course I have all the classics: Back to the Future, Star Wars, Indiana Jones.
